The Frying Pan Tower 60 Year Anniversary Raffle is a fundraising effort to solely support the FPTower Inc’s charitable activities. You can learn more about our nonprofit organization’s mission by visiting FPTower.org/about

This raffle is conducted in the state of North Carolina, pursuant to North Carolina law. No FPTower Inc. employee, board member, or affiliates are eligible for entry. All tickets are considered sold in the state of North Carolina when purchased.

By purchasing a ticket each participant agrees to be bound by and adhere to the terms and conditions of these listed rules:

1. The official contest rules may not be waived, modified, or supplemented except by FPTower Inc and listed on this page
2. The Grand Prize winner will be determined by a random drawing to take place on May 26, 2025 by FPTower Inc.
3. Transportation for the Grand Prize winner and guests will be provided from the departure point to and from the tower by boat or helicopter
4. Grand Prize transportation will be provided via donated helicopter rides under FAA charity regulations if eligible
5. Transportation for Day Trip winner(s) will be provided by charter vessel service.
6. Winner(s) and their guests agree to hold harmless those assisting FPTower Inc during their transport and visit
7. Winners will need to provide their own transportation to a Cape Fear departure point near Southport NC yet to be determined
8. The Grand Prize winner will receive a 5-day, 4-night stay on the Frying Pan Tower for themselves and 3 guests
9. All meals will be provided along with various activities as safely deemed available due to current conditions during their visit
10. Day Trip winners will be determined by a random drawings each month during the raffle period
11. Each ticket is a separate and equal chance to win a Day Trip or the Grand Prize with Day Trip winners still eligible for the Grand Prize drawing
12. Participants must be at least 18 years old to purchase a ticket. Guests of the Grand Prize winner must be at least 10 years old
13. Winners and their guests must adhere to safety guidelines and sign a liability release waiver prior to departing land
14. There is no limit to the number of available tickets any single participant may purchase
15. Total tickets available from all ticket quantity types are 2,650 total. Each ticket type quantity remaining is shown on the purchase page
16. The Grand Prize and Day Trip winners will be provided with a selection of dates available for their Frying Pan Tower Day Trip visit
17. Ticket purchases must be made through the website fptower.betterworld.org/events/raffle-for-restoration
18. No raffle tickets will be sold through any other venue. Purchased tickets may not be resold, doing so renders the ticket(s) null and void
19. The purchaser of the raffle ticket(s) must provide their name, address, phone number, and email address when purchased.
20. If more than one name is listed, the first name listed shall be considered as the ‘entrant,’ FPTower Inc
21. Every ticket and number of entries therein purchased is unique and stored/recorded by FPTower Inc. for the random drawings
22. To claim their prize, the winner must provide two forms of identification, one of them being a photo ID 
23. The winner is solely responsible for all taxes based on the estimated fair market value of $4,995 at the time of this drawing
24. If the winner(s) trip cannot be taken as scheduled due to weather or other force majeure, FPTower Inc. has the right to substitute other date options
25. Winner(s) must take their trip by May 31st 2026 after which the awards expire
26. Winner(s) agree to the use of his/her name, address, photograph, or video likeness and statements for publicity purposes.
27. The winner’s guest(s) are requested but not required to participate in publicity purposes
28. The winner(s) will be notified by phone and/or by email and all participants will be notified of the winner(s) on the website FPTower.org
29. A winner will be disqualified if the winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period or contact attempts
30. A winner will be determined to be ineligible if they do not comply with the raffle rules listed herein
31. If a winner is disqualified or declines acceptance, FPTower Inc. will redraw to select another winner of the prize
32. FPTower Inc. makes no warranties or representations beyond what is published on FPTower.org or fptower.betterworld.org/events/raffle-for-restoration
33. FPTower Inc. reserves the right to cancel or modify the raffle at any time with liability limited to the refund of ticket prices to participants upon request
