The Transforming Frying Pan Tower’s Future raffle is a fundraising effort to solely support the FPTower Inc’s charitable activities. You can learn more about our organization’s mission by visiting FPTower.org.

This raffle is conducted in the state of North Carolina, pursuant to North Carolina law. No FPTower Inc. employee, board member, or affiliates are eligible for entry. All tickets are considered sold in the state of North Carolina when purchased.

By purchasing a ticket each participant agrees to be bound by and adhere to the terms and conditions of these listed rules:

1. The official contest rules may not be waived, modified, or supplemented except by FPTower Inc and listed on this page
2. The Grand Prize winner will be determined by a random drawing to take place on May 27, 2024, and announced on FPTower.org
3. Transportation will be provided from the Cape Fear region departure point
4. Transportation for the Grand Prize winner and their 3 guests will be provided via donated helicopter rides under FAA charity regulations
5. Transportation for Day Trip winner(s) will be provided by donated charter vessel service provided by The Qualified Captain
6. Winners will need to provide their own transportation to the Cape Fear departure point
7. The Grand Prize winner will receive a 3-day, 2-night visit for themselves and 3 guests with all meals provided along with various activities as safely deemed available due to current conditions during their visit as described on FPTower.org
8. The five Day Trip winners will be determined by a random drawings for January, February, March, April, and May of 2024
9. Each ticket is a separate and equal chance to win a Day Trip or the Grand Prize. Day Trip winners will also be entered into the Grand Prize drawing
10. Participants must be at least 18 years old to purchase a ticket. Guests of the Grand Prize winner must be at least 10 years old
11. There is no limit to the number of tickets any single participant may purchase
12. The Grand Prize and Day Trip winners will be provided with a selection of dates available for their Frying Pan Tower Day Trip visit
13. Ticket purchases must be made through the website fptower.betterworld.org/events/raffle-for-restoration
14. No raffle tickets will be sold through any other venue. Purchased tickets may not be resold, doing so renders the ticket(s) null and void
15. The purchaser of the raffle ticket(s) must provide their name, address, phone number, and email address. If more than one name is listed the first name listed shall be considered as the ‘entrant,’ FPTower Inc. has no obligation for prize delivery to any person other than the ‘entrant’
16. Every ticket and number of entries therein purchased is unique and stored/recorded by FPTower Inc. for the random drawings
17. To claim the prize the winner will need to provide two forms of identification, one of them being a photo ID to prove that they are the individual who purchased the winning ticket
18. The winner is solely responsible for all taxes based on the estimated fair market value of $4,995 at the time of this drawing
19. If the winner’s trip cannot be taken as scheduled due to weather or other force majeure, FPTower Inc. has the right to substitute other date options for the trip however, the winner(s) must take their trip by May 31st 2025 after which the awards expire
20. Winner(s) agree to the use of his/her name, address, photograph, or video likeness and statements for publicity purposes. The winner’s guest(s) are requested to also participate for publicity purposes
21. The winner(s) will be notified by phone and/or by email and all participants will be notified of the winner(s) on the website FPTower.org
22. A winner will be disqualified if the winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period or contact attempts and will be determined to be ineligible, or if they cannot/will not comply with our raffle rules listed herein. If a winner is disqualified or declines acceptance, FPTower Inc. will redraw to select another winner of the prize
23. FPTower Inc. makes no warranties or representations regarding the trip being raffled other than what is publicly displayed on our website FPTower.org and on fptower.betterworld.org/events/raffle-for-restoration
24. FPTower Inc. reserves the right to cancel this raffle at any time, in which event its liability is limited to the refund of ticket prices to participants upon request
