Replace Cross Pipes
The water-level of the ocean is a harsh environment where the corrosion by salt water is aggressive. We are focusing our efforts to prevent these structural members from becoming compromised by the yearly hurricanes. Our plans are to re-enforce the existing structure and provide a platform for water level activities and research.
On order to carry out the replacement structure, it will require a large barge and volunteers who have the specialized welding skills for this critical area.
FPTower Inc. Begins a New Chapter Following Ownership Transition of Frying Pan Shoals Light Tower
FPTower Inc. nonprofit 501(c)3 has completed an agreement transferring its ownership interests associated with the Frying Pan Shoals Light Tower to private ownership. While this transition concludes our direct stewardship of the Tower, it does not change who we are or why we exist.
