Lots of Sharks Today
As [Richard] scuba dove beside the tower to install a temperature and current measuring buoy, his shark friends were very curious! They kept coming by to check on him. How nice that they were concerned for his wellbeing!
Once it’s operational, the new buoy will measure surface and seafloor temperatures, wave height and period right by the Frying Pan Tower! This information will be publicly available for mariners, divers and researchers to use as they wish!
Loved the clarity and always amazed at the quantity of fish under the tower!
FPTower Inc. Begins a New Chapter Following Ownership Transition of Frying Pan Shoals Light Tower
FPTower Inc. nonprofit 501(c)3 has completed an agreement transferring its ownership interests associated with the Frying Pan Shoals Light Tower to private ownership. While this transition concludes our direct stewardship of the Tower, it does not change who we are or why we exist.
