Sunset Beach FD receives donation of lifesaving equipment

FPTower Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to maritime safety, ocean research and preservation of maritime history, last week announced that the Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach communities have been selected as joint winners to receive a donated U SAFE Remote-Controlled Rescue Lifebuoy valued at approximately $8,000.

FPTower Inc. nonprofit 501(c)3 has completed an agreement transferring its ownership interests associated with the Frying Pan Shoals Light Tower to private ownership. While this transition concludes our direct stewardship of the Tower, it does not change who we are or why we exist.
